  The Plexus Clinic at Radboud university medical center, established in 2009, is specifically designed for persons with Neuralgic Amyotrophy (NA), an inflammation of brachial plexus nerves that causes severe pain, muscle weakness, and fatigue. Standard physiotherapy often proves to be ineffective or even worsens symptoms. This dissertation shows that a specialized rehabilitation program, combining physiotherapy and occupational therapy, is more effective. The program focuses on improving shoulder stability and coordination, along with training self-management strategies to reduce pain and fatigue.
  
  Patients reported to highly value expertise and strong collaboration with their treatment team, as it helps to better understand and influence their symptoms. Clear explanation of these modifiable factors is crucial. Graphing the course of pain and fatigue scores throughout the day helps patients understand the relationship between residual NA symptoms and daily activities.
