Samenvatting
Nairda he has filled another booklet with subjects to think about and some melancholic/funny stories as a kind of reader reward. Nairda doesn’t want to be right, he merely wants to stimulate readers to talk and listen, to discuss and argue, and to agree and compromise on important subjects and problems. He thinks that this will contribute to a happy life in a happy society for all. Nairda garners his controversial wisdom, hopes, and stubbornness, to keep his faith in humanity. Democracy processes must be kept in a state of continuous renewal. Decisions must be negotiated rather than imposed. Open minds serve that process, while fixed opinions sabotage it. Greed of the rich and powerful causes hunger, illness and death for the poor and powerless. And Nairda comments on courage, greed, democracy, privacy, luck, capitalism, and socialism.
